Dustin Software Online (post-beta)

Well everyone, after a week of being absent online, we’re finally back. However, we’re starting from scratch because of our stupid hard drive failing, so a lot of the website content isn’t here anymore.So here’s what happened-shortly after Jameson got back from his vacation, the server mysteriously froze and would refuse to boot to the primary drive (where all my web documents were). Taking the drive out and scanning it with CHKDSK proved that the hard drive had failed and that a majority of its contents had been corrupted. The operating system was completely gone, but most of the web stuff remained intact. Unfortunately, our database was one of the things that got hit by the failure, and recovering any part of it was no easy task.

So I took this perfect opportunity to completely (or at least mostly) reorganize and retheme my website, although most of the content won’t be up for a little while. Anyhow, I’ll post any projects I come across (and some past articles that Google has cached) on this website, plus news of some cool web apps we’ll be putting up soon. Except this time we’ll have a backup drive working so this doesn’t happen again…
